We’re inviting schools all over Australia to host a morning tea this May.
Getting involved is easy, simply invite your school community to take part in a morning tea in exchange for a donation. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Invite the whole school to participate in a school cake day
- Ask students to come up with their favourite morning tea recipes which the teachers have to cook
- Hold a staff morning tea at recess or lunch time with each teacher bringing a plate of food
- A taste-test – invite the Principal to judge the best healthy tea cake recipe
- Theme your event – an international morning tea; a healthy morning tea; a mad hatter’s tea party. Award prizes for the best hat, costume or plate of food
