When Natalie Pike lost her father to cancer 10 years ago, she wanted to find a way to give back and support others affected by the disease.
In 2011, she hosted her first Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raised her cup and never looked back.
What started as a small cuppa quickly grew into an event of more than 50 friends and family - raising more than $2700 in 2016.
“As I came to term with my father’s loss, I wanted to do something to help cancer patients and their families – it’s a cause close to my heart,” she said.
“Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a way to get everyone together and know that you are making a difference together.”
Each year friends and family gather at Natalie’s home on the Gold Coast for a morning of delicious food, raffles, silent auctions, games and good times.
Join Natalie in hosting an event in 2017 to raise vital funds for lifesaving cancer research, prevention programs and support services for all Australians affected by cancer.
