Last year, life changed in a way I never expected. I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer—triple negative. From that moment, everything became about getting through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

What made it even harder was that my husband was already on his own cancer journey. He’s been having chemotherapy for the past two years, so together, we’ve faced more than most families ever should.

It hasn’t been easy—but we’ve kept going.

I’ve recently finished my treatment and am slowly starting to recover, taking things one day at a time. It’s given me a deep appreciation for the support, care, and research that makes this fight possible.
