Australia's Biggest Morning Tea on Goldfields FM 99.1

Sisters of Song will have a Special Tribute Broadcast for Cancer Awareness Month on Goldfields FM 99.1

On Monday May 25, 9 till 11 am we will share a morning tea, songs from women lost to cancer & community stories.

Sisters of Song will present a deeply special edition of the program Monday 25, honouring the female singers we’ve lost to cancer and celebrating the strength, memory, and music they’ve left behind.

This commemorative broadcast is part of Cancer Awareness Month, and listeners are warmly invited to join us for a community morning tea at the station. It’s a gentle space to gather, remember, and connect through stories, music, and shared experience.

Host Susan Day will be curating a heartfelt playlist featuring the voices of women whose lives were touched by cancer — artists who sang through adversity, left a legacy of courage, and continue to inspire.

As part of this special event, Susan is inviting guests to pop in and share their lived experience with cancer. Whether you’re a survivor, a carer, a family member, or someone who has walked beside a friend through their journey, your story matters. These conversations will be held with sensitivity, dignity, and care.
