Freddie has found a home

Thanks to Ray for auctioning off my Freddie painting for $150. He couldn’t have gone to a more worthy person. I hope he brings you joy.

Such a terrific turnout

Thanks to everyone attending and digging deep to support this very important cause. We are helping so many Cancer sufferers.

Our Beautiful Daffodils

Thanks Lesley for all your hard work creating these beautiful daffodils 👏

Caress's Garden

Well done to Caress and all her helpers for her open garden and plant sale. Your garden is beautiful and the plants soo cheap.

Paint n Sip

Thanks to Angela, Denise and Libby for our fabulous paint and sip. It was heaps of fun and even with lots of sipping we created some masterpieces worth selling 🙏

Chick Flick

Well done to Cheryl Blake for organising an awesome movie night with bubbles and chocolates. It was lovely to see a full theatre and lots of money raised. I am sure that all those that went had a fabulous time. Thanks Cheryl 🙏

Pink Shirt Day and more

Thanks to the community for supporting our Pink Shirt Day. We raised a whopping $781. It was a huge success and everyone had a great time bowling or just sitting and enjoying a lovely morning tea on a beautiful sunny day. We have two more event to look forward to in the lead up to our main event. On the 7th of May we have a Paint n Sip organised by Angela Martin, Denise Ryder and Libby Taylor and an amazing Garden experience with Caress Walters on the 16th of May.

April Update

Things are starting to happen and we have had our first event donation with 5% of the fashion show going toward our tally. Lesley has been busy putting together our daffodil table decorations which look amazing. She has also been instrumental in packaging our poppy and daffodil brooches as well as making some wristlets (pictured). Our pink shirt bowls day is on the 15th of April. Greg Free is hosting rock concerts in the cinema. Our poppy brooches/wristlets will go on sale soon. Annie and Jenette Blake are ensuring all dietry requirements wll be catered for. Marilyn and Sally are getting organised for their "Second Act Apparel" so please have a closet clean out and give some lovely clothing and accessories to our clothes swap.

Community Meeting Update

It was fantastic to have so many helpers at our organisation meeting. We are an amazing community.

Support our biggest afternoon tea

Join us for GemLife Palmwoods Biggest Afternoon Tea on Wednesday the 20th of May at 2:30 pm or donate online to help us reach our fundraising goal! Together, we can help Cancer Council raise much needed funds that go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs, and advocacy.

Please support our lead up events such as our poppy brooches for ANZAC Day and our scheduled movie night on the 2nd of May if you can.

We will be having a raffle and a craft/plant/food market at our event with all proceeds going to the our biggest morning tea tally.

Your support and help would be very much appreciated.
