My Why

I’m hosting a Biggest Morning Tea this year because cancer has shaped my family’s story, especially through losing Mum. Doing something positive to support others feels like a meaningful way to honour her — it’s exactly the kind of thing she would have wanted.

I’ve chosen to make it a craft-and-tea day. Crafting with good people has always been my happy place, and it’s the kind of gathering Mum would have enjoyed being a part of.

I’m also doing this for Esme and Arthur. They never got to meet their grandma, but they’ll grow up knowing how deeply she was loved and how much she would have adored them.
