Hi, my name is Tracy I am the Duty Manager at Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat 😊

Cancer has touched my family in profound ways. Over the years, we’ve lost several loved ones to this heart-breaking disease. My mother’s journey started with breast cancer—a battle we thought she had won. After 10 years cancer-free, she lost her life partner, and shortly after, cancer returned, this time as bone cancer. This is a battle we cannot win, but we’re committed to fighting for her quality of life and ensuring her comfort.

My youngest sister is also facing her own battle with a rare blood cancer. She’s a fighter, and while the journey ahead is slow, we remain hopeful that she’ll regain a carefree life with her husband and two children.

My family’s story is just one of many, and it’s a reminder of the strength and resilience shown by those affected. That’s why we’re hosting a Big Morning Tea (High Tea) —a day dedicated to sharing stories, enjoying delicious food, and offering support to those battling cancer and their families.
