Inspired by our lovely friend

In the summer of 2024, the Mt Lilydale College Class of 92 lost a friend to bowel cancer. This fundraiser is in tribute to the much-loved Michelle (Watson) Jones💕

Our main fundraising event will be a Class of 92 reunion afternoon tea; we are also gratefully accepting online donations throughout April, May and June.

Our beautiful, smiley friend was a nurturer and a healer, and she had an unequalled talent for friendship. Some of us had been blessed to know her from primary school days to the cusp of the Big 5-0.

She loved nothing better than a cheery chat over a cup of tea, and she made all our lives better.

Inspired by her, we will gather together over scones and a cuppa, in the hope of reconnecting with each other and renewing the friendships of our youth, and of raising funds for the research that will one day bring us a bowel cancer cure🌼
