At Bede Polding College, we are coming together to make a difference.

The reality of cancer in Australia is confronting: 1 in 2 Australians are estimated to be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime. This means that cancer will eventually touch almost every one of us—whether it is a best friend, a sibling, a parent, or even ourselves. Because this cause is so close to home, our school is committed to supporting the life-saving work of the Cancer Council.

Our senior students are hosting a school-wide Morning Tea, selling a massive range of delicious treats to students and staff across all year groups.

We aren't just selling cupcakes; we are starting a conversation. Our goal is to raise awareness about the prevalence of cancer in our country and the absolute importance of staying vigilant and sun-safe. By coming together as a whole school, we are showing our support for those currently in the fight and for the families who have been affected.

We invite our entire school community—parents, friends, and neighbours—to support our mission. Every dollar raised through our bake sale and this donation page goes directly to the Cancer Council to fund vital research, prevention programs, and support services.
