A Cuppa and Crafting

We all know someone affected by cancer, whether they be going through treatment at the moment, a supporter of someone going through their cancer journey or someone who is a cancer survivor. No matter how people are affected, it is always so heartwarming to know that people care and are thinking of them. And what better way to let them know you care than sending a handmade card ... just to say "thinking of you" and "I am here for you".

I am hosting a "Biggest Morning Tea and crafting afternoon" at the Tsong Gyaiou Building (the rear of the McLaren Vale Hospital Building) on Tuesday 26th May 2026.

Kicking off at 12:30 pm and running until 4:00pm. Come on in and grab a cuppa and afternoon tea for a donation of $10.00 ... included in your donation is the option to make a card yourself (or to choose from the many cards on hand to take away). We suggest you write in your card and mail it on the way home.

Or stop a while and make a couple of cards ... no experience necessary. Additional cards are $5.00 donation. All supplies and tools are provided in order for you to make the cards, no need to bring anything.

It will be a fun afternoon and all proceeds go to support the Cancer Council of Australia.

We appreciate your support in raising money for this very worthwhile and necessary organisation. I know first hand how valuable a service they provide for people going through difficult journeys.
