My “Why”:

This May and June, I have pledged to attempt to raise $3000 for the Cancer Council Australia. All donations will go towards research, support, and prevention of cancer. Unfortunately, my family and I are part of half of the population that has been/will be impacted by cancer. My grandfather, who passed in 2021, battled three different cancers in his 73 years. I have memories of visiting him in hospital from age 5 all the way to age 17. I have first-hand experienced the devastating impact that cancer has on families. My hope is that I can help to raise funds to support other families struggling with the impacts of cancer, as well as contribute to the prevention of this disease.
