Support SID's Biggest Morning Tea 2026 our 5th year running

Its that time of year again........ The social event of the season the SID Biggest Morning Tea.

Join me at my Biggest Morning Tea or donate online to help me reach my fundraising goal! Together, we can help Cancer Council raise much needed funds that go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs, and advocacy.

It BAKES me so happy that we will be once again hosting the SID Biggest Morning Tea event. This is our 5^th year running and pretty much the social event of the season, think of it like SID’s answer to the Met Gala.

By having some fun and taking part, we are RAISON money for the Cancer Council. Last year we raised an absolutely phenomenal amount of money 1125.25, so I KNEAD you to dig deep as I have a FILLING, we can do BATTER this year.

Sadly, I think cancer has impacted all of us in some way, so please give whatever you can. Don’t forget, you can put charitable donations down on your upcoming tax return if that helps with your donation 😉.

If you want to give cash on the day, we will have a donation tin set up. Even if you can’t make it next Thursday, please don’t let that put you off from donating to this very worthy cause.

We start at 11:00am sharp, so please have all your entries lined up and ready to go.

You DONUT want to miss out, what a CAKEastrophie that would be.

You can bring in whatever you like, be it sweet, savoury or even just gross e.g. like a poorly made scary cake that no one ever wants to eat. The PASTAbilities are endless. We all BAKE mistakes, so just go for it. There is, of course, a very coveted prize for the best entry and a less coveted prize of the Spoon of Shame for the worst entry. So be brave as they say, no WHISK, no reward. Everyone will be a judge and given a scorecard.
