WHY ?

Too often, cancer awareness is something we only see highlighted at certain times of the year — a dedicated month, a campaign, or a social media push.

But cancer doesn’t follow a schedule.

It affects people every single day. Families are navigating it right now, often quietly and without enough support. That’s why I believe awareness needs to be ongoing, not occasional. It should be part of everyday conversation, not something we revisit once a year.
This event is about keeping that awareness alive.
this is about more than just raising money — it’s about building a stronger support system locally.

My venue and I are proud to provide a space for local support groups to meet. These groups are incredibly important, they give people a place to talk, to connect, and to feel understood.

By hosting this event, I want to shine a light on those groups and make sure people in our community know that support is available and accessible.
