My cancer journey 2026
4 months ago I was diagnosed with cancer.
Unfortunately the doctors told me it was inoperable but fortunately it is curable. So after 6 rounds of chemo, 30 daily radiation treatments and 3 radiation operations in 2 weeks I have finally finished my treatment YAY. I am not someone who wanted to post my whole week by week cancer journey on social media or someone who wants likes or sympathy just someone who wants to raise awareness around and money for cancer. Whats next for me now ….have my PET scan , be in remission, ring that bell, get back to my healthy self, back to work and start uni. Having cancer has given me a-lot of clarity, and although this fight hasn’t been easy , I have remained positive throughout . If it wasn’t for my fiancé Tony driving me to Launceston everyday and looking after me at home by treating me like a princess I don’t know what I would have done , he has been so supportive, my rock . My family means the world to me and our kids mean the world to us so we cant wait to say “goodbye cancer” and live to be old grandparents together with the gorgeous little family we have made and the families our kids will make . Thank you to everyone who sent me words of support and gifts it means a lot to me and I appreciate every one of you . Now for me its time to relax, heal and get back to me ♥️
