Mel's Story - 

In 2018, being diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system, was the biggest challenge of my life. The fear and uncertainty were overwhelming, but the Cancer Society was there every step of the way. They provided vital resources, emotional support, and guidance, helping me through treatment and the many challenges along the journey.

Thanks to their unwavering support, I’m now cancer-free. The Cancer Society gave me the strength, hope, and encouragement I needed to fight. That’s why I’m personally passionate about supporting Biggest Morning Tea—so others can receive the same life-changing help I did. Together, we can help more people face cancer with the strength to overcome it.
