BIGGEST MORNING TEA 2026

This year again, we are proud to be hosting the Biggest Morning Tea through Passione Gourmet Deli in Kingsley in memory of David Sardo-Infirri who sadly passed away from bowel cancer on the 23 August 2022 at only 41 years old.

In March 2019, David was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer with spread to the lungs and brain, but he was always so positive, never gave up and kept working at Passione that he loved so much since he created it back in 2010.

During his 3.5 years journey against cancer, David decided to share his journey on social media and with the Passione Community to raise awareness and donations for Cancer council.

Since his passing, his family and Passione Gourmet Deli have carried on his legacy by getting involved with Cancer Council by raising funds to “adopt a room” at the Crawford Lodge. 

This is to provide accommodation and support services to country cancer patients and their carers when they come for treatment in Perth.

We are so grateful we are able to use the money raised into something tangible where we see the impact. We get reports every 6 months from Cancer Council updating us on how many people have been using the room and where they come from.

I have attached pictures of the latest report we have. You can see the impact this adoption has on country WA cancer patients and their families.

I wish with all my heart that we can keep this family room #106 as long as possible. 

I clearly remember treatment time always being very challenging and stressful so I am so glad we can make a difference to some people going through the same thought times.

Through May and June, Passione Gourmet Deli will have a feast of treats on offer including raffles, food tastings, platters and many more surprises to come ! Stay tuned !!

We also accept card donations at Passione.

All donations will go to Cancer Council and will be used towards Dave’s room at the Crawford Lodge.
