Yarra’s Edge community are coming together again to fundraise for the 12th year.

Fundraising for the Cancer Council Australia is more important now than ever before. Over the past years we have lost a few Yarra’s edge residents to cancer, including Lynn O’Sullivan a Yarra Point resident and friends overseas such as Lynne Bellinger in Dubai. Many of us have family that have either been lost to cancer or are currently fighting their fight, with the help of cancer research we can make a difference.

Sadly, there are now 1 in 5 people worldwide that develop cancer in their lifetime, with rates varying from around 8.6% in low-income regions to over 45% in high-income areas like Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Europe. Risk increases significantly with age, with nearly 1 in 2 people in certain developed nations facing a diagnosis by age 85.
Help us to help others with our fundraising for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea 2026. Please donate today.
