We’re holding a Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea because it gives us a meaningful way to honour the people we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and stand beside anyone whose life has been changed by cancer. It’s a moment to pause, remember, and acknowledge the impact this disease has had on our families, friends, and community. By coming together, we’re turning our memories and compassion into something powerful  - a shared commitment to care for one another.

It’s also our way of contributing to something bigger. Every cup of tea poured and every donation made helps fund research, prevention programs, and vital support services for people navigating one of the toughest experiences life can bring. Hosting this event is our chance to say that no one should face cancer alone, and that we’re willing to do our part to push for better outcomes and a future with more hope.

Most of all, we’re doing this because connection matters. A Biggest Morning Tea creates space for stories, comfort, and solidarity. Whether someone joins us to remember a loved one, to show support, or simply to be part of a caring community, the message is the same: we’re here, and we stand with you.
