Hi I'm Kathy and I am a cancer survivor! Two years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Ovarian Cancer at the the age of 49. It was a very traumatic time for myself and my 3 children who had lost their Dad to Brain Cancer 8 years prior. They say Ovarian Cancer is a silent killer however, my symptoms were not silent enough for myself and my Dr to ignore. After having a full hysterectomy and 18 weeks of weekly intense chemo I got through it and am now CANCER FREE. My advice to anyone is to listen to your gut feeling and don't ignore any symptoms.

It's time to release those purse strings Peoples and donate some of that hard earned cash to the Biggest Morning Tea. Feel free to donate online or via the donation box in the tea room.

Together, we can help the Cancer Council raise much needed funds that go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs, and advocacy.
