Hear Kathy’s story, Perth Lounge Agent

Hi my name is Kathy and I am a cancer survivor! I was diagnosed with stage 1A ovarian cancer 3 years ago with mild symptoms which I just knew in my gut needed attention. After having a full hysterectomy and 18 weeks of intense chemo, I tested positive for the BRCA gene! I then decided to have a double mastectomy by choice to further prevent any cancer reoccurrence. My advice to anyone out there don’t ever let any symptom go unnoticed. Early detection is definitely the best medicine!
