Fighting the good fight
My cancer journey began in May 2024 when I was informed that cancer cells were present in my ovary. After undergoing a full hysterectomy, I received the results indicating that my tissues were "non-cancerous," which was a huge relief. However, a few months later, during a routine blood test in November 2024, I learned that my cancer markers were increasingly alarming. Went through so many different types of tests, PET, MRI, CT, Blood work, more CT, more MRI, and then, in January 2025, I was officially diagnosed with Stage 2-2B breast cancer, and my chemotherapy treatment began immediately.
I am currently undergoing 20 rounds of chemotherapy and completing the first 12 rounds June 5th. I will likely need surgery and an additional 8 rounds afterward. The realization that I have an illness that will be part of my life hit me during my 6th round of chemotherapy when I noticed significant changes in my body. Despite this, I feel blessed and thankful for the love and support from my partner, Jason, our three boys, and my work team, who have all helped me to balance work and life.
No one is ever truly ready for cancer, and it doesn’t matter how unprepared we feel. We must not let cancer dictate our days or how we live our lives.
Be yourself, find your normal, and keep fighting the good fight.

Does the cancer know you have been managing a site of 2500+ people. If it did it wouldn’t even have dared to look your way. It’s not the cancer to be scared of, it is you the cancer has to be scared of😎😎. It’s just a road block for a tough warrior like you. Finish it off quickly we will be waiting here in the site.
