Why I’m hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

On May 9th, I’ll be hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

This date is deeply personal to me and my family. We’ll be gathering on what would have been my beautiful Auntie Kirsty’s birthday, honouring her and her battle with breast cancer.

This morning tea is also for my father-in-law, who is currently fighting prostate cancer, and in memory of another aunt we lost to leukaemia.

Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it ripples through families, friendships, and entire communities.

Two years ago, the same year we lost Kirsty, I hosted a Morning Tea and raised $986.

This year, my goal is to go even further and reach $1,500 for Cancer Council.

If you’re able to donate, even a small amount helps. Every dollar raised goes directly toward research, prevention, and support services for families facing cancer.
