Support my Biggest Morning Tea

For the second year in a row, Solar Pumptec is proud to host Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in support of cancer research and support services.

This cause remains incredibly close to our hearts, and this year we are especially grateful to share some positive news. Since last year’s event, Tammie has responded incredibly well to a clinical trial treatment and is now on the road to remission.

Stories like Tammie’s are a powerful reminder that donations truly make a difference. The research, treatments, clinical trials and support services funded through events like this help create hope and real outcomes for families facing cancer.

We would be so grateful for any donation, big or small, as we come together again to support this important cause.

Tammie’s Story:

“"In 2021, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable and the second most common blood cancer.

Since then, I’ve been navigating life with myeloma over the past five years, experiencing both the challenges and the small wins that come with it.

Currently, I’m part of a clinical trial treatment that is working incredibly well, and I’m now on the road to remission. With myeloma, remission looks a little different — it doesn’t mean cancer-free, but it does mean a chance to live more normally for a while, something I don’t take for granted.

It has also allowed me to spend more time working with Solar Pumptec and enjoying everyday life again.”

“My treatment involves weekly chemotherapy, with one week of rest every three weeks. I regularly travel to the Royal Adelaide Hospital Cancer Centre, where I’m supported by an amazing team of nurses. Their kindness, humour, and everyday conversations make a difficult journey that little bit lighter.”
