A small gathering for a bigger cause
Hosting a morning tea for the Cancer Council Australia is something deeply meaningful to me. Like many families, mine has been touched by cancer in different ways—through loved ones who have faced diagnosis and treatment, and others we’ve sadly lost. These personal experiences have shaped my appreciation for the care provided by healthcare professionals and the research that continues to improve outcomes.
This event is a simple way to honour those journeys, express gratitude for the support that has made a difference, and contribute to ongoing efforts in cancer research. It’s also an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and living healthier lifestyles, in the hope that it can make a positive impact for others in the future.
